FAQ

Frequently asked questions about 13CrMo4-5

What is the difference between 13CrMo4-5 and 16Mo3?

13CrMo4-5 is additionally chromium-alloyed and usable up to approx. 570 °C – higher than 16Mo3 (~530 °C).

Does 13CrMo4-5 need heat treatment?

When welding, preheating and usually a post-weld heat treatment (PWHT) are required.

Request 13CrMo4-5?

Grade, standard, size, pressure rating and quantity are enough – on request with an EN 10204 3.1 / 3.2 mill certificate. Your quote usually the same day.

All data are typical values per the relevant EN standards for first orientation – without warranty. The applicable standard and the mill certificate of the delivery are decisive.
